Hi, I’m Joanna. 

I’ve got a keen eye for creating structure from other people’s chaos, often designing and configuring systems that serve a team or organization’s bespoke needs. Throughout my career, I’ve been tasked with solving seemingly mundane problems on the surface that were prominent enough to disrupt team productivity. Today, I have an established curiosity for - and take pleasure in - tinkering with internal systems until both the tools and the teams I work with run like well-oiled machines.

Throughout my journey, I have gained a wealth of experience through jobs that appear on the surface to be outside of my path entirely. I got an early lesson in flexibility, for example, from being taught in retail to find as many coin combinations as possible from a cash register as quickly as possible. To this day, I regularly remind myself and my teams that “there’s many ways to make a dollar.” As a bartender, I built on that knowledge by learning to remain flexible under pressure. Handling intoxicated patrons with care taught me soft skills.  Using glass tools in a dimly lit space with wet hands taught me agility and focus. Creating mental and tangible systems to remember drink recipes, orders, totals and change due at the same time gave me organizational aptitude. 

Eventually, my early career in experiential marketing helped grow me as a professional as well. I learned to manage a project end to end while navigating shifting timelines and deliverables, managing budgets alongside client expectations, and remaining flexible to the ever-changing experiential landscape. As a Senior PM in the media industry, I now serve as the execution lead for both one-off and multi-episode branded content as well as partner footprints at experiential activations. I have also built and led rollout for many interdepartmental workflows, along with Monday.com workspaces and project tracking boards.

In 2025, I’m learning to make more data driven decisions through basic data analytics courses, and diving into AI for project management.
